The Great “National Herald” Robbery – Who, How & Why.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi have been summoned by a Delhi court as accused in a criminal complaint lodged by Dr. Subramanian Swamy for alleged cheating and misappropriation of funds in acquiring ownership of now-defunct daily National Herald.  Metropolitan magistrate Gomati Manocha issued summons proclaiming that "complainant has established a prima facie case against the accused under section 403 (dishonest misappropriation of property, 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating) read with section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC. Hence, let the accused, all Directors of Young Indian - Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Moti Lal Vohra (AICC Treasurer), Oscar Fernandes (AICC Gen Secy) and managing committee members- Suman Dubey (Ex Press Advisors to Congress PMs) and Sam Pitroda (Ex Chairman of National Innovation Council set up by Congress Govt) be summoned for August 7, 2014”.

 

The Associated Journals Ltd (AJL) is the owner and publisher of National Herald (English daily), Navjivan (Hindi daily) and Qaumi Awaz (Urdu daily), which was set up at the initiative of Jawaharlal Nehru on November 19, 1937 (birthday of his daughter Indira) under the Indian Companies Act, 1913. It had a capital of Rs 5 lakh divided into 2000 Preference Shares of Rs 100 each carrying a fixed but non-cumulative dividend of five per cent per annum and 30,000 ordinary shares of Rs 10 each. The Memorandum of Association announced its objective, “To establish and to carry on in the United Provinces and elsewhere the business of news agency, newspaper and magazine proprietors, printers and publishers and all similar and incidental trades thereof and in this connection to do all such things as may appear to the Directors to be in the interests of the Company”. The signatories included Jawaharlal Nehru, Purushottamdas Tandon, J Narendra Deva, Kailash Nath Katju, Rafi Ahmad Kidwai, Mohan Lal Sakra and Krishna Dutta Paliwal. The document was witnessed by Govind Ballabh Pant. The National Herald group was set up essentially as Indian-owned and financed newspapers to support the freedom movement. The individuals and Indian companies that donated funds for this enterprise were contributing to the Congress party for the freedom movement. After 1947, the rise of the independent media made this essentially party-controlled newspaper unviable.  Though its founders became the ruling establishment of independent India, National Herald and the other papers launched by them never achieved much success and after floundering for years, publication finally stopped in 2008. After independence, the Herald Group survived on support provided by the Congress party and Govt.  till even that became unsustainable. To pay off the employees (VRS) to help the closure, the Congress Party had given an interest-free loan of Rs 90 crore plus to AJL in 2008.  With the newspapers  shut, AJL had become a mere real estate company in 2008, with property in Delhi, Lucknow and Mumbai etc. worth over Rs 2,000 crore in its balance sheet. Against this,  AJL owed just Rs 90-crores plus to the Congress party.  The balance real estate of AJL, left after paying off the dues to Congress, should have legally and morally belonged to AJL’s thousand plus shareholders.

 

The list of AJL’s shareholders submitted to Registrar of Companies as reflected even in the year 2011 reveal that from its inception in 1937, Associated Journals Ltd. did not deem it fit to maintain its records properly. When shareholders died, their legal heirs / nominees did not replace them. The same is the case with defunct companies whose promoters and their heirs were entitled to shares of Associated Journals. Keeping defunct shareholders from 1937 to 2011 suggests they comprised a sort of default vote-bank for those controlling the company. The 2011 list mentions Jawaharlal Nehru (died in 1964), Co-founder Rafi Ahmad Kidwai (died in 1954), Feroze Gandhi (died in 1960), Indira Nehru Gandhi (died in 1984), Ghanshyam Das Birla (died in 1983), NS Pandit and Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit (died in 1990), Kailash Nath Katju (died in 1968), former Chief Justice of India Mirza Hameedullah Beg (died in 1985), Yagya Dutt Sharma (died in 1996), Sucheta Kripalani (died in 1974), Mohammed Yunus (died in 2001), Jitendra Prasad (died in 2001), HY Sharda Prasad (died in 2008), Lalit Suri (died in 2006) among others. Many firms are also long extinct. One shareholder, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, is possibly not legal as a political party cannot enter into any commercial activity. As such 80% of the shareholders are either individuals who died or extinct in case of firms. That this may not have been an accidental omission can be seen from the fact that from time to time members of the Nehru-Gandhi family and their close associates entered the shareholder list — Indira Gandhi and Feroze Gandhi and later their grandchildren, but others offspring did not. The Nehru-Gandhi family was controlling the AJL indirectly through their cronies over the years and Moti Lal Vohra, the AICC Treasurer was its Chairman and Managing Director till it got taken over by  “Young Indian”, a sham company directly run and controlled by Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.  The AJL’s 2008 list of Shareholders and Debenture Holders shows that the name of Rahul Gandhi is written by hand on Page 49 with no shares or debentures allotted. In the List for 2011, “Young Indian” figures as the last entry, address N-125 Panchsheel Park, New Delhi-17 with  9,02,16,898 shares allotted. Moti Lal Vohra had signed this document in his capacity as Managing Director. With most of the original shareholders dead and shareholding companies defunct, the holding company, The Associated Journals Ltd should have been legally dismantled. Since, the real estate in various parts of the country was given by the Government to it at below market prices to support it’s cause, it should have been returned to the State. Instead, the ownership of properties amounting to over 2000 Crores in prime locations across the nation was allowed to be spirited away into the private coffers of the Nehru-Gandhi family.  By defying both law and morals, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi robbed AJL’s Rs 2,000-cr plus real estate without paying anything to AJL’s shareholders or to the state. In just 3 months, between November 2010 and February 2011 with 3 moves, control of thousands of crores worth property passed onto the Gandhi family.

 

First, in November 2010, a trust company named “Young Indian” was formed (Registration no. 55-210686), registered under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 with a capital of just Rs 5 lakh, in which Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi owned 38% each (total 76%) and two of their cronies, Moti Lal Vohra (Treasurer of Congress as well as Chairman & MD of Associated Journals Ltd.) and Oscar Fernandes (Cong Gen Secy), owned the balance 24 per cent, making it a 100% Gandhi family outfit. Apart from them, the other 2 directors are Suman Dubey and Sam Pitroda, both Gandhi family loyalists. And, what is the mission of Young Indian? Young Indian says in its annual report  that, “it is engaged in activities to inculcate in the minds of India’s youth commitment to the ideals of democratic and secular society”.

 

Second, what is the first act of this idealist company, after its birth? The very next month, in December 2010, the board of directors passed a resolution to "own" AJL's outstanding debt and "admittedly obtained an unsecured zero interest loan from the Congress Party" for an equivalent amount to liquidate the debt.  Thus Gandhis  got the Congress party to assign the Rs 90-cr plus loan given to AJL in 2008 to Young Indian by paying to the party just Rs 50 lakh. The Congress wrote off the balance Rs 89.75 cr as irrecoverable bad debt.

 

Finally, in February 2011, AJL converted the Rs 90-cr plus due to Young Indian into equity shares and allotted them. By this step, Young Indian became almost 99% owner of AJL and as much of the real estate of AJL. There was no general body meeting of shareholders to discuss and approve this huge gift of prime estate to a private firm. Moti Lal Vohra, Chairman of The Associated Journals Ltd, informed the Board of Directors in a meeting held on February 26, 2011, that 9,02,16,898 equity shares of Rs 10/- each be allotted to Young Indian in consideration of the extinguishment of the amount of Rs 90,21,68,980/- due to Young Indian under loan facility availed by the Company from Congress party. There is no explanation as to when AJL had assets worth more than Rs 2,000 cr, why should the Congress write off Rs 89.75 cr due from it as bad debt?

 

Young Indian’s annual report discloses that AJL was restructuring “its activities” to align its objective with that of Young Indian’s main objective. But why - finally to merge AJL into Young Indian? But its director’s report shows that, from the inception in November 2010 to March 2012, its total income was — only Rs 800 and  its total expenditure was Rs 69.79 lakh and its loss, after deducting its income was Rs 69.78 lakh. Did AJL, with its huge real estate, need an asset-less and income-less pauper like Young Indian for its restructure? Young Indian’s annual report intentionally conceals the crucial fact that the loan of Rs 90-cr plus owed by AJL was originally due to the Congress party and also suppresses the fact that AJL with asset base of a couple of thousands of crores had become its wholly-owned subsidiary. This is a fraud as per company law, which mandates that the details of the subsidiary be available to the public. Young Indian also totally suppresses its 99% holding in the AJL saying that the shareholding “is treated as application on the object of the company” and so “the same has not been reflected as an investment in shares”. This deceptive accounting jargon means that the payment of  50 lakh for 99 per cent of shares of the AJL worth thousands of crores is shown not as an asset, but as expenditure. This is to keep the investment out of the balance sheet of Young Indian. The annual report blatantly lies that since the net worth of AJL is negative, its investment in 99% capital of AJL is written off as expenditure. The balance sheet of AJL as on March 31, 2011, shows a positive net worth Rs 8 crore, of which Young Indian’s 99% share is Rs 7.92 cr. So the negative net worth story is a fabrication. The real net worth of Young Indian is, of course, over Rs 2,000 cr.

 

And now what is the current status of the most valuable property owned by the Associated Journals Ltd, which passed on to Young Indian? National Herald House in 5A, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi has been rented out to Ministry of External Affairs for its passport office and Young Indian receives Rs. 60 lakhs per month for this from Govt. of India.

 

Now, when Dr Swamy has exposed Congress party and its leadership, the Congress spokespersons are trying to tell the nation, that revival of National Herald, a symbol of Gandhi-Nehru ideals, was an “emotional issue” for the party and therefore as a duty  it had paid Rs 90 cr plus for Herald’s revival. But what Congress is not revealing is that it actually paid that money in the year 2008, to help close and not revive the National Herald. Also, the Sonia-Rahul owned Young Indian had no intention to revive National Herald while dubiously taking control of AJL, which Rahul Gandhi told “The Pioneer” newspaper on 11^th October 2012 - “Young Indian is a not-for-profit company and does not have commercial operations…. The company has no intention of starting any newspaper”.  Pandit Nehru once said that “I will not let the National Herald close down even if I have to sell (my own house) Anand Bhawan”. And now his descendants -  these fake Gandhis  have buried the National Herald and looted its real estate.

 

Hence, it is a clear case of gross violation of company law and a fit case for criminal prosecution. But can the Modi Govt prove it’s political will and judiciary & law enforcement agencies of the nation prove their integrity by doing their duty to punish this fraudster family? History will judge them by what they do or don’t do in this case. This is a test for democracy and institutions of justice of our nation. The common men is eagerly waiting to see the triumph of good over evil.

 

Media Terrorism

“In Pune, ‘HINDU  ZEALOTS’ kill man over ‘offensive’ Facebook post, 13 arrested” – this was the Times of India (TOI) headline last week.  Is this a responsible head line by a responsible National daily? Are they not spreading communal hatred by publishing such headline? What if Hindu’s take offense to such labelling and large scale violence break out? Or have they taken Hindus for granted and consider deriding Hindus their  “secular freedom of expression”? We should condemn this killing and all such killings from any community because nothing ever justifies taking a human beings life and such acts should not only be condemned but the culprits should be brought to book to face the severest of punishment. The word "ZEALOT" means "a person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of his religious, political or other ideals". But by labelling a few disgruntle elements of one religion with such an adjective amounts to deriding a whole population who follows a particular religion. There were news reports last month about Muslim and Sikh clashes in Hyderabad and also it was confirmed that Muslims initiated it but TOI didn’t report the same as “Muslim Zealots” engaging in violence against Sikhs?? When the Sabarmati Express was burnt in Godhra  to kill Kar Sevaks returning from Ayodhya, which led to the 2002 Gujarat riots, none from media reported it as “Muslim Zeolots” killing Hindu Kar Sevaks? In last 3 days, 2 BJP leaders have been killed in suspected communal killings in UP, but TOI or other secular media are not reporting with such headlines. Why is it that anybody can say anything against Hindus but their secular sentiment stops them from saying similar things to other religions?

 

I don’t remember ever reading even once, any media house in India calling anyone a “Muslim Zealot” and rightly so. But the mere suspicion of rarely finding a few Hindus behind an act of terrorism gave our entire media and intellectuals the license to instantly coin a new word called the “Hindu Zealot” and “Hindu Terrorism”. Because it’s very easy in India to abuse Hindus as anyone like without any facts, figures and proof and not being prosecuted. Hindus can be arrested, tortured brutally (even women) by investigating agencies, kept in jail for years without trial and not even provide medical facility for terminal diseases as there aren’t any Human Rights Groups and NGOs jumping in and creating farcical noises. Pampering Muslims terrorists and their supporters and sympathisers give most media houses and journalists the license of “secular liberal media” and therefore they have made supporting terrorism their business policy as rights groups around the world then fund and recognize them. A weak spineless UPA Govt. for last 10 years  just said “we will take strong action”, then did nothing except it’s Home Minister creating controversy by accusing RSS of training terrorists but when asked for proof and action, made a complete U turn, a ruling party whose Vice President and “Shehzada” tells the US ambassador that Hindu terrorism is a bigger threat to India then Jehadi elements like IM, SIMI, LeT etc. but our slavish media  shamelessly remain silent or justify such incompetent Govt policy, ministers and leaders in order to show how ‘secular’ their outlook is and doesn’t miss any opportunity to create a false air of alarm that even Hindus are responsible for terrorism.

 

When Hindu are killed by Muslim Jihadists in Assam, Bengal, UP, Kerala or J&K, the news item is published on the 16th page of  the News Papers but when one  Muslim is victim of a crime, front page of all the pseudo secular newspapers are devoted to it. During the 26/11 Mumbai attacks or Bodh Gaya Blast etc. the reporters at the ground from such as NDTV, CNN-IBN etc. took utmost care to not point out whether  Muslims might have been involved in the attacks even though the evidence was overwhelming. Contrary to this, when a Hindu is mentioned even as a possible suspect, the same news reporters in India have no shame or reluctance in typing negative headlines that defame Hindu’s across the country and world and even when nothing has been proved afterwards they never retract or apologize for such blatant dis information campaigns. If you claim to be a “Hindu Nationalist”, you will be promptly labelled communal, fascist, anti-minority, a chauvinist pig and denounced & pilloried as pure evil.  If you claim to be a Hindu, you are essentially against the Poor, the Dalits, the Minorities and Democracy & Pluralism. But if you claim that you’re a “Muslim first”, nobody will even whisper. The pseudo secularists have long white-washed the crimes of Islamic invaders to establish Hindu society as a criminal society of upper-caste and lower-caste where the upper-castes exploited everyone else. So they often argue that the Islamic invaders actually saved Hindu society and the lower-castes and claim that Hindus destroyed other religions like Buddhism and Jainism.

 

This pseudo secular media in India is the biggest terrorist and supporter of “Jihad” against non-muslims in India. It is the No.1 enemy of integrity and security of our nation and its citizens.  No wonder that Ghulam Nabi Fai an undercover agent of ISI, who was arrested in the USA sometime back — his guest list included Rajendra Sachar (who sought reservation for Muslims) and Dileep Padgaonkar (the Editor of Times of India). Most of our senior pseudo secular journalists and their panel of intellectuals are in the guest list of several fronts of the Jehadi terrorist organisations and their lobbyists.

 

But why is this bias being accepted by a majority in India? Just because Hindus are majority in this country, it seems they have to bear the burden of secularism and prove their secular credentials all the time but Muslims are considered born seculars. In the desperation to appease and prove ourselves to be a secular democratic country to the outside world, India’s govt. and media have forgotten to represent the majority community of the country. The pattern and consistency of this bias is clearly evident, yet majority of the citizens of India choose not to question such forms of abuse. This has become possible because large portion of the Indian population is made up of various castes and also living in poverty. When a large number of people are caste and poverty stricken, it is easy to manipulate this population to follow any hidden agenda that a group is pursuing. When vulnerable minds are manipulated at desperate times, it is easy to change their way of thinking and as this process is continuing for years since independence,  perspectives of the general public has changed in line with what they are being fed,  by the media and the Govt. This manipulation can be so powerful, that people fail to see things that are so vehemently against their own people. Consequently, they see themselves as progressive thinkers and go along with whatever is being said without trying to question the abuse of their rights. However, it’s high time that every educated person with an independent thinking capability starts highlighting and protesting this infringement of rights and stop ignoring it any longer. The media cannot get away with portraying Hindu’s as the so called “villains” without valid history, reasons and proof, while others are always portrayed as the “victims” plainly because of their numbers. Such vicious, venomous and biased vilification of a single religion or the majority community is not good for any country except under communism or theocratic dictatorship.

Every nationalistic and patriotic citizen of this nation irrespective of religion will agree that every terrorism-believing  anti-Indian should be given the most ruthless punishment and should be pulled out from every hideout of theirs. Believing in democracy and secularism doesn’t mean compromising with the discipline, integrity and security of a nation. No strong nation does it and we should stop doing it right away. The pillars of democracy and secularism are about identifying ruthlessly – and without looking at religion – who are those who are time and again threatening this nation’s integrity and security and going behind them ruthlessly.

Jo Hara Woh Phir Bhi Sikander (or Shehzada)

Mr. Kamal Nath and other Congress leaders are now trying to justify the continuation of Rahul Gandhi’s leadership of Congress party saying that as he was not in the Govt., so he can’t be made responsible for the worst ever drubbing of the Congress party in the just concluded Lok Sabha Election and that resignation doesn’t solve any problem. By trying to defend the indefensible incompetence of Rahul Gandhi, these Congress leaders are actually confirming the well known fact that Rahul is the Shehzada and Congress is under Dynastic rule. In a democracy a leader is required to produce results and perform. Had Modi failed to produce results, somebody else  in BJP would have taken over but in case of Rahul there is no such scope for any other leader in Congress party to come forward and take over as the leadership is in the hands of a dynastic family. Doesn't such comments proves that BJP is a democratic and cadre based party, where a deserving candidate is preferred and selected based on public sentiments and performance? And if and when that candidate fails to perform, BJP would not always continue with his leadership. So there is at least some accountability. Now compare this with Congress, the party is open to lose elections after elections and still the sycophant mentality of the members will make sure that Rahul is around until he becomes PM (and a father), so that  the dynasty continues. Hence, it is quite natural that Rahul will remain as the sole leader of Congress as it is his family property, but BJP is not anybody's inherited property. Congress has become so arrogant that they are not bothered even when the  people of this nation don’t want to see members of this Nehru-Gandhi family as their leader and would do everything possible including manipulating mandates to keep members of this dynasty in power. I’m almost sure that during the next week’s AICC meeting Sonia and Rahul will enact the drama of offering their resignation but the AICC office bearers will reject their resignation overwhelmingly saying that every congressmen in the country is looking towards the Maa-Beta to guide and propel Congress back to their glorious (corrupt?) days of power.

 

We the people of this nation need at least two Democratic parties for securing India's future. Narendra Modi should leave the race for somebody more capable and acceptable, if rejected by the voters, so should Rahul or Sonia Gandhi. We, the people, subscribe to this democratic principle. But why does this principle not apply to Rahul? I am sure, Kamal Nath and other Congress leaders also believe, that we (the voters) can remove Modi in future by using our votes if he does not live upto his promises and performance. But can Mr. Kamal Nath or any other Congress leader enlighten us, as to what we can do to remove Sonia, Rahul, Priyanka or their children in case we do not like them as our leaders?  History of even Congress party reveals that this principle applied to a few, who even without being from the Dynasty came near leading this party or led for a short while. The poor performance in 1967 election diminished the chance of Morarji Desai from becoming the PM. Again, poor performance in 1996 election made Narshimha Rao leave the race. But the culture in Congress today can only produce sycophants and self-seekers. That someone as intellectually handicapped as Rahul Gandhi could think of becoming India’s Prime Minister and that some people who are members or beneficiaries of Congress party, enthusiastically endorsed  his candidature is one of Congress’s many descents from the times of the iconic Gandhi to that of his surname hybrids. Apart from the fact of his birth in the Nehru-Gandhi family, how is Rahul qualified to lead the Congress party can’t be convincingly explained by any member of this party. Such demeaning flattery of someone who has so far failed to distinguish himself in any field of human activity reflects very poorly on a 120 years old political party which could not find or rather allowed anybody to lead this party apart from members of a single family. It’s appalling that educated and experienced politicians in Congress party, instead of questioning the credentials and capability of Rahul Gandhi for leading the party let alone PM's job, have now have to fall behind a line as they can’t dare to dream for the post of President of Congress party (and PM’s job) simply because they don’t have the surname. We hope and pray that Rahul Gandhi will reveal some of the great qualities, which he has hidden so far very well from the public. Apparently senior Congress leaders have insider information on his qualities and strengths. So Rahul, our prayers are with you even if the votes were not.

 

Indira Gandhi started the era and culture of “chamchagiri” in the Congress party  and converted it into an extension of the whims & fancies and insecurities of a single individual and a family. Thus, what was loyalty to the party earlier became loyalty to an individual and a family. She destroyed every democratic institution in this country including inner party democracy and right to express unbiased opinion in Congress party, so that nobody can “challenge” her autocratic rule in furthering the cause of her dynasty and converted the Congress into a family business. 

 

The below is what Late Khuswant Singh wrote about Indira Gandhi many years back and we can see a mirror image of her in the current Maa-Beta leadership of Congress and a legacy in what Kamal Nath & other Congress leaders have said :-

“There is nothing spectacular about her rule. She was incapable of tolerating any criticism and she picked up an aversion to some persons because she thought they were challenging her, among them Jaya Prakash Narayan, a good, honest man. She couldn’t stand him because he was a challenge to her as the leader of the country, especially as people grew disillusioned with her rule. There were problems, droughts, challenges and Jaya Prakash Narayan had emerged as a leader. During her reign, corruption increased to enormous levels. She was really very tolerant of corruption, which was another negative mark against her. She knew perfectly well that some of her ministers were extremely corrupt, yet she took no steps against them till it suited her. If she knew someone was corrupt, she tolerated him but if it suited her, she used the same corruption charge to get rid of him. She really had no strong views on corruption, which went sky high during her time. Also, she felt uncomfortable with educated, sophisticated people. So you have the rise of people like Yashpal Kapoor, R K Dhawan, who was a stenographer who worked in her office, Mohammad Yunus, who just hung around her. I believe this was because she had no real education. She went to Shanti Niketan, then she went to Badminton School abroad, then to Oxford. Nowhere did she pass an exam or acquire a degree. She hid her insecurities behind a mask. I think that bred a sort of inferiority complex of not being recognised as an educated person. She would pretend to have read a lot of books. She spoke French, which she picked up when she accompanied her ailing mother Kamala to Switzerland, which went in her favour. There were pros and cons but there was this sense of insecurity when it came to highly intelligent people and people with clear records. She felt more comfortable with second-rate people. How did her insecurities, about which much has been written, affected India? In her insecurity, she destroyed the institutions of democracy. She packed Parliament with her supporters with loyalty being more important than ability; she superseded judges; she corrupted the civil service. Favouritism became a great sport with her. She also knew how to use people against each other and was quite a master of that”.

 

The Congress not only doesn’t care about people's opinion, but also arrogant enough to state it clearly as Kamal Nath & others have done. It's disheartening to see this 120 years old political party and its leaders remaining prisoners of a Dynasty. They should realize that it's high time now for this family to leave from the Indian political scene with some respect still remaining. You either die as hero or live long enough to see yourself become villain.

Secularism in India – A Tool for “Ullu Banaoing”

During every discussion or analysis in every media now a days we hear our politicians, intellectuals, sociologists, historians and even the journalists utter the word “secularism” at the drop of a hat and give sermons to us as how it’s core to our nation’s socialist democratic set up and how it’s dilution by the “Hindutva” forces can be catastrophic to our identity and civilization as a nation state. Now the questions are:

 

1.     What is the definition of “Secularism”?

2.     How much the term  “Secular”  in its current form  as used by the so called “secular parties” headed by Congress is relevant to our nation and its citizens?

3.     Is it simply a bogey, historically being misused and abused in Indian polity just to fool and confuse the  public?

4.     Does “Hindutva” a threat to India’s secular identity, culture and civilization?

 

So, let us decode these myths and find what the reality is.

 

The term “Secularism” was first used by British writer George Jacob Holyoake in 1851. In political terms, secularism means separation of religion from state. A secular state observes complete neutrality in matters of religion, treating all its citizens equally in all matters of state policy, program or law regardless of their religion without favouring or giving preferential treatment to any particular religion or non-religion. Such a state considers religion only as a matter of personal faith. A secular person or politician can continue to hold his personal religious faith & beliefs, but he doesn't involve religion in matters of governance. Religion can’t be and should not be an instrument in the democratic process of such a secular state.  Though, social values in all countries are bound to trace their origins to religion, but these must pass the test of rationality and public good before they are accepted as social norms or law for personal or public use.

 

Any other interpretation or meaning only means that the concept of secularism is being diluted and used for wrong doings and justifying malpractices and appeasement. But for some strange reasons, our historians, intellectuals, academicians and the media never questions or analyses if the so called self-proclaimed secular parties headed by the Congress practices secularism in its true sense. And hence Congress and its secular allies are continuing to misuse the word secular to brand anybody who is against its political interest as communal. Since independence, our indifference to the true practice of secularism has resulted in misuse and abuse of the words secular and communal and converted them into tools for confusing and dividing the people. Congress thinks that they are having the right to distribute "Secular" certificates to anybody.

 

If we look back at the history of our independence movement, we find that it was Congress party who was instrumental in aiding and abetting British rulers of that time for giving birth to communal politics in India which resulted finally in partition of  this nation and creation of Pakistan on religious lines. In the pre independent India, there was no BJP to threaten Congress politically but still it alienated Muslims for its hunger for power. Congress’s inability to deal with the Muslim League and refusal to share power with them for one-third seats in the Central Legislature, failure in addressing their political security demands in a spirit of give and take, the failure of the Nehru Report of 1928 under the chairmanship of Motilal Nehru with Jawaharlal Nehru as secretary and the parting of ways with Jinnah and his 14 points for greed of power resulted in the British rulers resorting to the “Two Nation Theory” and creation of Pakistan. This was inspite of vehement opposition from Mahtma Gandhi, who was interested in sharing power with the Muslim League. How can the same Congress party that committed such unpardonable blunder and disastrously failed to protect the political security and interests of the Muslims of undivided India and forced them to seek a separate state based on their religion, claim to be the sole protector of Muslims today? Accepting the two nation theory for partition of India was tantamount to the Indian National Congress pleading guilty to that charge. Post independence, the handful of Congress leaders including Sardar Patel, who opposed the Nehruvian policy of “fake secularism” for continuing their hold on power during that time were all side-lined. Yes, it’s a fact that had Patel been our first PM, Kashmir and other such problems would have never existed today alongwith a particular minority community appeasement policy. Patel opposed Nehru’s plan for reservation for Muslims in the parliament which resulted in the then Govt. withdrawing such a proposal. He wanted all communities to forget their religion & first become Indian with their undivided loyalty to the nation. This was because the majority of supporters of Muslim League and a separate nation were not from present Pakistan but were from UP and Bihar. Patel was brutally honest and said that people belonging to the minority community in the country should not try to ride on two horses. Patel also believed that the onus was on Muslims to defeat suspicions about the actions of some of their co-religionists in the pre-partition days. Therefore, after Independence Congress Govt’s priority should have been to impart secular education as a compulsory subject in every school and college alongwith education on the glorious history of India and it’s civilization to integrate them into “Bharatiyata” for social cohesion, explaining the position of religion as assigned to it by the Constitution of India, the rights and obligations of all religious communities. It was also important to sensitise all minority communities, particularly Muslims, to the concept of secularism, as it was some of their kinsmen who had opted for another state on the basis of religion  but they preferred to stay back as citizens of a secular nation. But successive Congress Govts failed to take any such  step and instead resorted to cheap and symbolic gimmicks like Muslim Personal Law instead of Uniform Civil Code, Madrassa Education instead of Uniform Modern Education, Haj Subsidy etc. to keep the separate identity of Muslims alive so that they can remain as a unique group to be used as vote bank. Also, the Congress party nurtured and used the religious leaders of the Muslim community by dolling out favours to them to declare fatwas during elections to vote in favour of Congress.  Indira Gandhi took this fake secularism to another level by inserting the word “Secular” in the Preamble of our Constitution during the Emergency days without explaining the true meaning of it. Article 25 of the Constitution, which guarantees every citizen the right not only to profess and practise his religion but also the right to propagate it, is the foundation of Indian secularism. Not a single word of the text of the Constitution was changed after the word "secular" was added to the Preamble, implying thereby, that the ingredients of secularism already existed.

 

The result of our undefined "secular" culture has become a tool for appeasement of a particular minority community. For Congress & it’s allies like SP, BSP, JD(U), RJD, NCP, TMC etc. & the Left Front- Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists and even Christians etc. are not part of minority community as they don’t vote in block. The whole Indian constitution & even Supreme Court judgments have no value infront of dictates from the Mullahs. Who can forget the Shah Bano case – which was the greatest example of travesty of natural justice in a modern secular democracy? How can a secular country spent tax payers money only for religious pilgrimage of one particular community? Haj houses have been built in every corner of the country, subsidy on airfare is given, every send off & return is attended by a political leader in every airport of the country. But not even a proper road & shelter on the way in J&K for Amarnath pilgrims as it will endanger environment. Last year J&K Govt. (coalition of NC & Congress) has even withdrawn the little state support given on food & diesel etc. to Amarnath pilgrimage on their way. But none from this “Secular Brigade” raised a hue & cry. Think of the same, had it been done for Haj. Dussehra, Hanuman Jayanti & Ganesh Chaturthi processions can’t cross Muslim majority areas, as Muslims will complain about breaking peace in their area by loud noise & gatherings. But Hindus will have to hear the prayers from mosque 5 times a day on loudspeakers (strangely even Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population doesn’t allow prayer on loudspeakers) because India is a secular country. Riots will occur in Azad Maidan in Mumbai if illegal migrants get killed due to their fight for encroachment on tribal land in Assam or bomb blasts are justified in Bodhgaya as Muslims are killed in Myanmar violence. But if a Hindu is killed or converted live on TV in Pakistan/Bangladesh, no Hindu should even utter a word, since Hindus are secular & this is Pakistan's internal matter. Crores of Bangladeshi Muslims are allowed to settle in all states of India, but India Govt. has no time to think of Kashmiri Pandits, who have been systematically thrown out of their ancestral land of thousands of years. The funniest  part of Congress brand of secularism is that outright communal parties like the MIM in Andhra Pradesh, the IUML  in Kerala & the AIUDF in Assam are certified as secular, the moment Congress needs to ally with them. JD(U) was  communal till it was in NDA but overnight got the certificate of “secular political party’ from none other than Prime Minister of India. RJD supremo, Laloo Yadav's only claim to fame apart from the fodder scam and the lawlessness which he gifted to Bihar, remains that of a die-hard secularist who got LK Advani arrested. It is just as strange that the present Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar, rediscovered his secular credentials only after getting a shockingly lukewarm response to his state-wide Sewa Yatra and sensing that his bete noire Laloo Yadav had recovered some of his lost ground. Union Home Minister Shinde has given another example of secular governance by issuing a dictate to the police of the country not to arrest “Muslim people” unnecessarily for investigating terror cases. Mulayam Singh Yadav has instructed UP Police Chief to deploy atleast 3 Muslim policeman in every police station in UP.  How can the PM who represents the "Secular" Congress party says things like "Muslims have the first claim on resources of this country”? And to top it all the supreme leader of Congress party, Sonia Gandhi refers to Muslim voters as the only secular voters of the country and ask for support service of Shahi Imam to get Muslim votes in block for Congress. Congress joins hand with Muslim league, MQM, AIUDF etc. to win election after election, gave article 370, massacred thousands of Sikhs in Delhi in 1984, nurtured Masood Madani of Kerela, Owaisi brothers of AP, Abu Azmi in Mumbai, Geelanis in JK, but still Congress is most Secular & as BJP talks about removal of article 370, uniform civil code for all citizens etc., so BJP is most Communal. A leader like Narendra Modi, who says for him “Secularism means India First”, who says “Justice for all & appeasement of none”, who says “Religion should not be used as an instrument in our democratic process” is a “Communal” Politician but Digvijaya Singhs, Manish Tiwaris, Mulayams - who use every available opportunity to appease Muslims even at the cost of national security like, Samjhauta Express Blast, 26/11 Mumbai blast, Batala House encounter, Afzal Guru case, Ishrat Jahan case & even demoralizes our armed forces & intelligence agencies are “Secular Saints”. The Communal Violence Bill advocated by the National Advisory Council (NAC) headed by Sonia Gandhi is the most glaring example of biased and communally divisive agenda of Congress party to keep Indian people divided along religious lines. For Congress and its allies secularism mean seeking the Muslim vote bank exclusively for themselves and maligning all other nationalistic people and political organizations as communal. Muslims sadly never gained much inspite of going with Congress and these secular parties, as the Sachar Report showed. They are trapped into backwardness but have to admire these politicians going to Iftar parties wearing skull cap. Their backwardness is necessary for these political tricksters to keep them dependent on favours in return for votes.

 

Secularism in India, provides a great escape route to politicians & political parties from performance & accountability. Therefore every mediocre, non-performing & corrupt Indian politician or political party is a self-proclaimed secularist.  In a fractured Hindu society, managing the 15% Muslim votes would make all the difference between winning election to control power or sitting in the opposition. Congress needs only another 20% votes from the majority community to rule & that is what they have been doing in the last 65 years. Even most of the regional parties viz., SP, BSP, RJD, TMC etc. & the Left front have also been perfecting this tactic to win elections.  The word secularism has some respect and therefore I request these parties and their supporters and sympathisers not to insult it. The politics of Congress and its allies to please a certain community as pure vote bank are very well known.

 

The word “Hinduism” never existed  before 1830 till it was coined by the British. There is no mention of the term "Hindu"  either in the Vedas, Puranas or any other ancient text. It was a geographic and cultural term used by the Greeks, Persians and Arabs, derived from the Sanskrit word “Sindhu”, to describe the people living by and beyond the river Sindhu. The Greeks modified Sindhu to Indos, and it is said that ancient Persian explorers because of their pronunciation rules dropped the letter S from Sindhu, and called the people living around the Sindhu River as Hindus. Even the term "Hindusthan" was first used in the 12th century by Muhammad Ghori, who referred to his conquered subjects  as "Hindus and it became a label after the Muslim conquests to distinguish between the original inhabitants of the land from the invaders. Then came the first census of India by the British in 1871 that defined "Hindu" as a term to encompass several religions that were not Muslim or Christian. Thus, a term that originated to give geographical and cultural identity to a group of people by the invaders through the turbulent history of India, became a word connoting a religion and that is how it stands today. Encyclopaedia Britannica describes "Hinduism" as a blanket term covering several religions and does not refer to a single religion. "...Hinduism is both a civilisation and a congregation of religions. It has neither a beginning, nor a founder, nor a central authority, hierarchy nor organisation. It is the glorious catholicity of Hinduism that one can be a believer in one God or multiplicity of Gods or even none at all. Hinduism does not expel much less crucify alleged non-believers. Every attempt at a specific definition of Hinduism has proved unsatisfactory in one way or another. ... It has no organisation, no dogma or accepted creeds. There is no authority with recognised jurisdiction. A man, therefore, could neglect any one of the prescribed duties of his group and still be regarded as a good Hindu."

 

So, what is the meaning of  “Hindutva”, a word  undoubtedly originated from the word “Hindu”?  As per the Supreme Court of India’s judgement of 1995, it means “the way of life of the Indian people and the Indian culture or ethos and by no means an anti minority or anti Muslim potion. Ordinarily, Hindutva is understood as a way of life or a state of mind and is not to be equated with or understood as religious Hindu fundamentalism...it is a fallacy and an error of law to proceed on the assumption... that the use of words Hindutva or Hinduism per se depicts an attitude hostile to all persons practising any religion other than the Hindu religion..." Hence, are the Hindutva  bashing "secular brigade" of  politicians, intellectuals and media casting  aspersions on the Supreme Court judgement that Hindutva is nothing but a secular way of life? Hindutva is neither hostility to any organised religion nor it proclaims superiority of any religion over another. It is a shield of security and freedom for all religious minorities for its core value is “Sadeva Kutambhekam”- we are all one family. A Hindu can never be communal and violent towards other religions as it’s not there in the DNA of Hinduism. Let me quote from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.3.28, the Sanskrit prayer "Aum, Asato ma sad-gamaya; tamaso ma jyotir-gamaya; mrtyor-ma amrutam gamaya, Aum shanti, shanti shanti”. Its English translation is - "Lead me from ignorance to truth. Lead me from darkness to light. Lead me from death to immortality. May there be peace, peace and eternal peace". So, a Hindu while praying to God does not seek power or wealth, nor hatred or enslavement or slaughter of those who has different beliefs, but only spiritual light and peace on earth for all its inhabitants. Can anyone question the intrinsic secularism of  Hinduism originated thousands of years before the Congress party claimed its patent? Hindu scriptures preach “Ekam sat vipra bahudha vadanti" – meaning, though there is one truth, it is interpreted differently by different intellectuals. Differences in interpretation do not brand anyone as an infidel or heretic or guilty of blasphemy.

 

The secular brigade of politicians, intellectuals and media need to remember that India is a secular country, only because it’s 80% population is Hindu. Nobody also should try to hide that fact that as long as Muslims are in minority in a country, they want secularism to prevail but the moment they become majority, they want a theocratic, shariah practicing Islamic country. Can they show a Muslim majority country, which is secular? India had Muslim as President, PM, Chief justice and in many other important posts, only because it’s a  Hindu majority country. Can they show a Muslim majority country where a non Muslim could ever become a President, a Prime Minister or a Chief Justice or even reach one of the highest ranks in armed forces? Why a country, can a non Muslim ever become CM in the only Muslim majority state in India i.e. Jammu & Kashmir? But the “Secular Saints” will never raise those questions but ask only Hindus of this country to practice secularism. Hindu is the only religion that preaches and practices secularism in the true sense. History proves this fact and therefore, being the largest religion at one time (few centuries ago), its survival is at stake today for practicing secularism. The Mullah’s who preach hatred towards other religious faith and belief every Friday and openly encourage people for “Jihad” (hoy war) against “Kefers”(non believers) are all secular, the missionaries who’s only aim in the guise of spreading education & health is religious conversion are all seculars, but if some Hindus try to protest or stop them in such activity, they are communal. For these “Secular Saints”- deriding Hindu culture, faith and Gods through literature, art etc. are secular freedom of expression. The nexus is very evident between the Congress led, self-proclaimed liberal-secular class, supported by the caste based political parties and the plethora of foreign funded NGOs, who play one community against another in the name of  protection of human rights and poverty alleviation to ensure Congress continues to retain the power to rule India as it suits their interests. It’s high time that every right thinking, nationalistic and patriotic Indian citizen must ensure that the misuse of the term “Secularism” and demonizing “Hindutva” is stopped.

 

The Secular Cap on Unsecular Skulls…

The “Secular Saints” of Congress party and the Media are again trying to start another controversy about the most loved whipping boy of Indian Politics Narendra Modi by racking up his statement that he is against any symbol of appeasement which includes Muslim skull cap. What these “Secular Saints”  fail to explain is - does wearing a religious symbol of only one particular community make Indian politicians specially hindu politicians secular?

 

Why in India only hindus have to bear the burden of secularism and prove their secular credentials all the time? Why is it that the “Secular Saints” of media and politics, don’t dare to ask muslims to practice the “secular dharma” in their personal and public life, the way they ask Hindus to practice the same? We never see any Muslim leaders participating in any Hindu religious ceremony let alone wearing a Tilak or accepting Prasad. Have anybody ever seen any Muslim leader participating in Holi, Diwali or Ganesh Chaturthi Utsav wearing a Saffron Anga Vastra or Turban? But no they need not do so, as Muslims are born secular but they demand that others behave as per their whims and fancies. How does it matter if Imam Bukhari asks Muslims not to join Anna Hazare because of Vande Matram, how does it matter that Saudi King while visiting India does not go to Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi, how does it matter if Islam forbids its faithful’s not to offer respect to Hindu culture or deities? It doesn’t matter to this brigade that BSP MP Shafiqur  Rahman  Barq, walked out of the Lok Sabha as India's national song Vande Mataram began playing, saying that it amounts to worshipping the Motherland & it is incorrect for a true muslim as he can worship only Allah. It also does not matter to them that Kerala ministers of Indian Union Muslim league IUML (allies of  "secular Congress party ” ruling Kerala), are refusing to light a lamp to inaugurate public functions saying this Indian tradition is un-Islamic.

Samajwadi Party leader and UP minister Azam Khan has created another controversy by saying that India won the Kargil War solely because of Muslim soldiers and no Hindu soldier was behind the victory. Addressing a rally in Ghaziabad(UP) on last Monday afternoon, Khan while asking “Hindu brothers” to embrace Muslims, said,”…isliye mohabbat karo ki Kargil ki pahadiyo ko fateh karne wala koi Hindu nahi tha, balki Kargil ki pahadiyo ko nara-e-takbeer Allah-Hu-Akbar kehkar fathe karnewale Musalman fauji the… (love us because peaks of Kargil were not conquered by Hindus, but by Muslim soldiers raising the battle cry of God is the Greatest).”

 

We all should believe that the defence personals of the nation should not be divided or counted by their religion. Former Army Chief General VK Singh rightly said that it wasn’t any particular community but “Indians” who won the battle for India. While all nationalistic and patriotic Indians should follow the above but it’s also necessary to give a strong reply to anti-social and religious fanatics like Azam Khan and people like him alongwith   their supporters and sympathisers by taking appropriate actions to teach them a lesson. Else they will be encouraged to continue such anti national activities. Also, they need to be exposed with facts and figures that what they are saying is just to mislead Muslims in India to believe lies similar to what Pakistan teaches to its school students about victories against India in the wars including Kargil. It is well documented that India lost 527 nos. of soldiers during Kargil war and only 11 of them were Muslims.

 

For making such outrageous comments, Azam Khan would have been behind bars in a true secular democracy  like USA or UK or French for treason against the Nation Or would have been shot dead in Saudi Arab or Iran or even Pakistan for hurting national sentiment. But as India is a pseudo secular democracy, we have to tolerate such anti national, jihadi, religious fanatic traitors like Azam Khan and our so called secular media, politicians and intellectuals are not crying hoarse. This culture of appeasement and undue tolerance of a particular minority community needs to change in this country. Our politicians, law makers and majority of nationalistic and patriotic citizens need to show spine and our criminal panel code needs to be strengthened. Such traitors should be immediately either shot dead or sent behind the bar for treason against the nation and national army and this nation needs to show to all citizens that such utterances would not be tolerated here. Such inhuman can’t even ask for human rights and we need not offer any mercy to such morons. His track record clearly suggests that he is an ISI and Pakistani agent who is trying everything to harm our nation from inside at every opportunity. He is still leaving in Aurangjeb’s era with Mughalian superiority complex and taking advantage of our nation’s democracy, democratic institutions and so called secular tolerance. These comments are another old Islamic fantasy they like to tell themselves to feel good about themselves- that Muslims are better soldiers than Hindus. What Pakistani soldiers heard when they died in Kargil was "Hah Har Mahadev, Jai Maha Kali, Ayo Gorkhali". He needs to be told that Captain Vikram Batra  was not a Muslim. Neither Saurav Kalia, the prisoner of war- whose eyes were gauged, private parts were chopped and mutilated body was handed over to India by the Pakistani savages, because he did not disclose to Pakistan anything about Indian Army deployment was a Muslim.  Since when did Gorkhas, Sikhs and Jats become "Muslims"? Even in mixed units like the grenadiers that fought on Tiger Hills, Yogendra Singh Yadav from 18th grenadiers earned the Param Vir Chakra. Azam Khan should be made to realize that the religion of nationalism and Indian Armed forces is not UP political arena and beyond the realm of parasites like Azam Khan, who are living in India but are loyal to their religious masters in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Kargil war was thrust upon India because  of a Muslim Pakistan and it’s 100% muslim armed forces. There is no country who has fought more wars against another country in modern times than India against Pakistan.  

 

Azam Khan is more dangerous than Afzal Gurus and Kasabs. This country has not forgotten what this same Azam Khan said when SIMI was banned for the first time that “the move smacks of political vendetta against the Muslims of the country”. As per him SIMI is a socio-religious organization of Muslim youth and involved in character-building of the youth and other social work.  But it is on records that SIMI, originally was formed as the student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) in an effort to revitalize the Students Islamic Organization (SIO) established in 1956. It is an Islamist fundamentalist organization, which advocates the ‘liberation of India’ by converting it to an Islamic land. The SIMI, an organisation of young extremist students has declared Jihad against India, the aim of which is to establish Dar-ul-Islam (land of Islam) by either forcefully converting everyone to Islam or by violence. SIMI’s slogan is "Allah is our Lord, the Qur’an is our constitution, Muhammad is our leader, jihad is our way & shahada is our desire". SIMI maintains that concepts of secularism, democracy & nationalism - keystones of Indian Constitution, are antithetical to Islam. They aim to restore the supremacy of Islam through the resurrection of the khilafat, emphasis on the Muslim ummah & the waging of jihad.  He is also on record saying that he doubts whether Kashmir is a part of India. Terrorism is flourishing in India unhindered courtesy politicians like Azam Khan, who are sponsored by ISI and other anti India organizations and countries.   This nation should have the guts to put on summery trial such traitors like Azam Khan, who has brought disregard to the noble sacrifices of Indian Army. He is unfit to be an Indian citizen let alone in politics in this country. Anti-national politicians like Azam Khan are today the biggest threat to our nation and should face prosecution for falsification & wilful suppression of facts.

 

It's strange how 66 years after Independence the debate on secularism dwarfs the real issues a progressive nation should be debating.  And therefore, we see a total silence from most of the political parties, pseudo secular media and  the so called secular intellectuals, who normally jumps into almost everything said by the BJP, RSS etc. The only reason behind such silence of  the political parties like Congress, SP, BSP, JD(U), RJD, TMC, NCP, Left front etc. is because they can’t risk alienating the Muslim vote-bank  during the election time and even otherwise too. Congress party and its supreme leader Sonia Gandhi anyway thinks that only the Muslims are secular. But it’s strange that even the media, intellectuals and other social activists, who are self-proclaimed protector of secularism from communal forces (read BJP) are also silent. Does being a minority leader give Azam Khan the right to say anything even at the cost of national integrity and security? Why such privileges are accorded only to the minority leaders from a particular community in this country, while if a Hindu leader talks of the Hindu’s rights, he is seen as communal and committing a sin?

 

Hopefully the coming elections will settle this debate once and for all. Otherwise it would not be long before we become slaves again.  Azam Khan, Akbaruddin Owaisi, Shakeel Ahmed etc.’s recent utterances should serve as wake up call for all of us to respond appropriately.  It’s high time, that we follow, the preaching of Kathopanishad, popularised by Swami Vivekanand, “Arise, Awake & stop not, till the goal is achieved”, the goal being liberating our country, from the clutches of these Pseudo Secular Politicians, Media and Intellectuals.

 

Aam Aadmi Party and it’s Pakiphilia

When we look at the support emanating from Pakistani media, political parties, anti-India activists and groups for Arvind Kejriwal and AAP as well as the recent statements, views, ideologies and background of the core thinkers, policy makers and strategists of  AAP, we find an uncanny similarity. It puzzles me no end that both of these two constituents have a similar view on Kashmir, which is one of the most important issues in India’s integrity, sovereignty, security, external affairs and also political spheres. So when I did some study and went deeper into this puzzle, a Pandora’s Box opened before me. And what prompted me to go deeper was the controversy of the image of a map of India in AAPs official website, which showed parts of Kashmir in Pakistan and at the same time news of ever increasing donations and  support from Pakistan to AAP as well as known India baiters inside India aligning with AAP.  Below is the content of my study based on hard facts presented in a logical sequence.

 

Elections in a democratic country like India would come and go but certain issues related to national security and sovereignty can’t be compromised for the sake of rhetorical vote bank politics. Therefore, it is imperative that important political leaders having national ambition must make their stand clear on such issues, be it inside the parliament or outside it and do not end up benefitting India's adversaries by their irresponsible statements or actions. But one wonders if this act of Aam Aadmi Party of showing parts of Kashmir as part Pakistan was one of folly or a deliberate one. It is observed that Arvind Kejriwal and his group only express their opinion & road map on issues which have a one-sided public view viz., corruption, misgovernance, price rise etc. But they don’t clear their views and road map  on such sensitive issues like Kashmir or Maoist problem, Jihadi terrorism & threat to our nation from forces like IM, SIMI etc., cross boarder terrorism sponsored by Pakistan, India’s foreign policy towards Pakistan, Bangladesh or China, Article 370, uniform civil code etc.,  where opinions are divided but which need a solid stand.  Moreover, the individual known stand of important ideologues, who are part of the Aam Aadmi Party, on issues ranging from Kashmir to Maoism is extremely alarming. For any political party, India's complete integrity and sovereignty should be of top priority. But it is observed that the ideologues of AAP have blatant disregard for India's integrity & security, armed forces & law enforcement agencies in their fight against religious fundamentalists of the Jihadi variety, terrorists & separatists.

 

Arvind Kejriwal is on record wooing disgruntled elements of Muslim community by terming Batla House encounter and the sacrifice of police men like Mohan Chand Sharma as fake. Even after the court proved him wrong, he has not apologized for his blatant distortion of facts and disrespect for honest police officers. Similarly, Kejriwal  termed Ishrat Jahan as innocent, walking the pseudo-secular line but the reality is that not just US court convicted David Headly confirmed that Ishrat was a suicide bomber, but even Yaseen Bhatkal during his interrogation, confessed that she was a member of LeT.  Soon after Ishrat and her 3 accomplishes were killed, LeT had owned up Ishrat, with its Lahore-based mouthpiece 'Ghazwa Times' describing her as an LeT activist & martyr. Infact,  Kejriwal took more interest in Ishrat than his own party's murdered RTI activist Santosh Koli. He never went hard to get a probe done on who killed her. Kejriwal didn’t hesitate to ask for support from well known Bareilly(UP) based cleric Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, who was arrested for Bareilly riots.  Maulana Khan had also issued fatwa for beheading of Taslima Nasreen and  supported assassination of  US President Bush. Similarly in 2011, he met Imam Bukhari of Delhi’s Jama Masjid for garnering his support. Imam Bukhari has a non bailable warrant on him for over a decade  though no govt. is having the guts to arrest him, alongwith dozens of other criminal cases including for openly calling Islamic Rule in India. I think Kejriwal can't be so naive to not know the nature, ideology and loyalty of such Jihadi hate speech makers but he clearly played sick communal card by meeting and asking for support from these clerics. AAP’s senior founder member Prashant Bhushan called for a referendum on the Indian Army’s presence in Jammu & Kashmir and supports Pakistan’s claim on Kashmir. He also ran a signature campaign for clemency for Afzal Guru, who was convicted with death sentence for 2001 attack on Indian parliament. If the temple of our democracy is attacked by foreign terrorists, supported by local traitors, an open support to them in the form of pardon letter signature is unpardonable in my view. In fact so popular is Prashant Bhushan and India's AAP in Pakistan that the issues raised by him on referendum in J&K gets solidarity across the border. In Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan has on its webpage an article titled, ‘Listening to the Voice of Aam Aadmi Party in order to hold Plebiscite in Occupied Kashmir is demand of the hour'. The article states that, ‘Ch Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Federal Minister has said that India must give up harping on the tunes of Integral Part and listen to the tunes of Aam Aadmi Party which has demanded plebiscite in occupied Kashmir. He said that voice from inside India in support of referendum is the reflection of common Indian's thinking and is the need of the hour. The shocking aspect of the whole saga is the manner in which Pakistani Government agencies have been trying to portray that what AAP says in India is the thinking of the common man of this country. So, Aam Aadmi Party members are actually projecting themselves as representatives of the common man in India and their controversial anti-national statements are being used by  Pakistan to portray to the world that this is the sentiment of the common man in India.  Prashant Bhushan, meanwhile, went on to demand a referendum on the deployment of security forces in Maoist-affected areas. Not surprisingly, Binayak Sen, found guilty of colluding with Maoists and waging war against India, is a prominent member of the AAP. Sen, a convict now out on bail, is helping AAP make policy decisions. Every Indian should be beware of a party that employs such convicted terrorist sympathisers under the guise of "expertise". Political scientist and psephologist Yogendra Yadav, has a disturbing connection with Naxalite groups.  It is not a coincidence that Kamal Mitra Chenoy, whose biases for Kashmiri separatists, Maoists and similar other anti-national elements are well known, is a leading thinker and policy maker in AAP. He also wants the Left leaders to join the AAP  to  finish their unfinished agenda of the Left movement.

 

People like Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Manish Sisodia, Kamal Mitra Chenoy, Medha Patkar, Sanjay Singh, Shazia Ilmi, Gopal Rai and Dilip Pandey are Indians but only in name. This group is no more than mercenaries whose single-point agenda is to destabilise India and break India into smithereens. This would help forces like American-based Ford Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation, US’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Pakistan dreaded intelligence agency Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI), and China, to mention only a few, play their nefarious games in the region with utmost ease and destroy Indian culture, civilisation and society. A complete entourage of Naxals from hardcore Sabyasachi Panda and Soni Sori to over ground supporters such as Alok Dixit, Binayak Sen, Kamal Mitra Chenoy and the Jihadi Islamists like Raza Muzaffar Bhatt, Kamal Farooqui, Tauqeer Raza, Rizwan Kaisar have joined the AAP. Kamal Farooqui was thrown out by unarguably the biggest practitioner of the Muslim appeasement in Indian politics – Mulayam Singh Yadav for trying to protect the Indian Mujahideen head Yaseen Bhatkal but the AAP lapped him up without any compunctions. The Party perhaps has every single person who signed Afzal Guru’s clemency petition as its member. There are others like Babu Mathew in AAP ranks, who signed Ajmal Kasab’s mercy petition. Add to this is the vigorous efforts for online fund collection made by Kejriwal’s trusted lieutenant, Shazia Ilmi, during her visit to the Middle East in February, 2014 to enable her party to fight the 2014 general elections.

 

Not for nothing are the Islamists in Pakistan cheering for the Aam Aadmi Party and mobilising funds for it. It is hard to believe that Pakistan, whose very existence depends on enmity towards India and whose state policy is to see the destruction of India -politically, economically, socially and militarily is today supporting and contributing to AAP for a corruption free, secular, developed India with good governance and accountability at every level of governance. It must be a deep conspiracy and certainly they see major gains from AAPs coming to power in India, which will expedite their goal of annexing Kashmir, divide India into many parts in religious lines to complete their unfinished agenda in Hyderabad, Junagarh, UP, Bihar and many others parts?

 

Though it is difficult to identify the sources responsible for nurturing and financing the self-confessed anarchist Kejriwal and his AAP, it will be pertinent to recall that Adrian Levy and Cathy Scott had highlighted in their extensively researched book “The Seige”, that Major Iqbal of the ISI had boasted about planting in India of a super spy agent codenamed “Honeybee” and  that there was a retinue of chuhes (i.e., rats) working for the ISI across India. Till now the Intelligence Bureau is unable to trace and arrest the so-called Honeybee and his or her rats. An alert was, however sounded by the Bureau in January 2014, warning that the ISI and LeT were trying to infiltrate into Indian political parties. In these circumstances, the startling revelations made by Aamna Shahwani in “The Afghanistan Times” on March 4, 2014, certainly point to the urgent requirement of identifying the hidden hand of Pakistan’s Honeybee and has cited more than one proof of the AAP being funded and supported by the ISI of Pakistan. Recently the Washington-based “Association of Indian Muslims of America” issued an “appeal to Indian Muslim citizens and voters to raise funds for and support Aam Aadmi Party” in the upcoming 2014 general elections. Showering praise on the Aam Aadmi Party, it’s press release displayed Kejriwal’s photograph and his famous ‘broom’ to enthuse the Muslim voters. The press release claimed that AAP will help the deprived Muslim community of India escape the police brutality, denial of justice, etc. The ISI and many other spy agencies have been using the methodology of bogus online funding to destabilise nations hostile to them. Several members of the American Indian Muslims Association were in close touch with the ISI of Pakistan through Dr.Ghulam Fai of Kashmiri American Council, who was arrested by the US police in July 2011 on charges of illegal activities and espionage. Interestingly the shadowy Pak agent Dr. Fai was also responsible for getting bogus online funds rolled over by the ISI through online donations for promoting the cause of Kashmiri secessionists. Bogus online funding is a well known trick used for espionage. RSN Singh, a former military intelligence officer who later served in the RAW recently said that the ISI has been funding politicians in India. In the intelligence circles the identity of these politicians are very well known. Has the ISI found new recruits in AAP to destabilize India? Are the services of the ISI & LeT now being obtained to influence vote-bank politics?

 

Is our nation so spineless & irresponsible that anybody can say anything to suit their political need without any accountability? Does Indian democracy give license for senseless behaviour & utterance? Are Kejrial and his group not bartering national security for vote bank politics? This clearly shows that the Aam Aadmi Party is playing a cynical game to tap Muslim angst over terror probes and playing the appeasement card for electoral gains. For them votes are evidently more important than national integrity and security. First by doubting the existence of the terrorist organizations, then by doubting the authenticity of the encounters, and lastly by questioning the accession of Kashmir in India and role of our security forces, they are  aiding & abetting the disruptive forces of terrorism & their sympathisers – thus they are hell bent on demoralizing the security forces & intelligence agencies and thereby endangering the sovereignty & integrity of the nation.

 

Today, India is  fighting on two fronts - one against the corrupt Congress and the other against the anti-national AAP. While the former is plundering the nation, Kejriwal is following the policies of former Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) President Mikhail Gorbachav. Gorbachav too talked of reforming state economy by introducing glasnost ("openness") and perestroika ("restructuring"). He ultimately ended up dividing USSR into many independent states. Pakistan and other enemies have  never accepted India as one nation. Their stand is that India is a country of many nations, and hence is likely to disintegrate one day. Voting for Kejriwal and AAP will surely accelerate this process. Every Nationalist Indian would shudder to even think of this calamity. Every patriotic and nationalist Indian should be aware of these anarchists and nib them in the bud, as they are a threat to our unity, democracy and freedom. Its growth will be disastrous for our nation.
